National Destination Marketing Campaign

Year two of the ‘Next Stop, Durham’ campaign is now live, but it’s not too late to be part of, and benefit from the national marketing activity. 

Running from October 2024 to May 2025, the campaign inspires those who have travelled through the county, by rail or road, but never visited, with high profile media activity.

Year one of the campaign reached over 18m consumers and contributed an estimated £165m in visitor spend, and we are looking to build on that success with year two of the national campaign.

This campaign toolkit provides businesses with the assets they need to get involved with the ‘Next Stop, Durham’ marketing campaign, and will support businesses and the destination by sharing content through their own channels.
